When the Italian Lancia team deployed the ultimate Delta S4 for the first time after long months of development at the British Rally in 1985, it immediately took over the mantle of the best technologically advanced car in the World Championship start list. In 1986 the car was part of the team which included the most successful Italian driver in history, and later double world champion - Miki Biasion.
